WestonArts Festival 2024 Terms & Conditions:
By completing this submission(s), I hereby agree to forever discharge, release and hold harmless WestonArts Inc., Town of Weston, CT, Weston Board of Education, and its Officers, Agents and Assigns, including volunteers, and any other entities utilized for this event, of and from any and all manners of actions, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from personal injury and loss or damage to my property while participating in the 2024 Weston Fine Art Festival (WFA’24).
1. The festival participant hereby assumes all risks and hazards incidental to any participation at the Weston Fine Arts Festival July 13and 14, 2024 and fully understand this is a rain or shine event. Festival participant fees will be refunded or credited towards a comparable fee at another WestonArts show in the event of show cancellation due to any/all unforeseen conditions/circumstances.
2. The participant warrants and represents that they are the sole legal owner of all rights, title and interest in all artwork/goods and/or has full right and authority to enter this Agreement and grant the rights granted herein.
3. The participant is responsible for the delivery, packing, transport, and removal of their artwork/goods and hanging or displaying artwork/goods at their own risk and expense. WA Gallery participant is responsible for the delivery of wire hang ready and or secure display of sculpture and or 3D submitted artwork.
4. The participant understands that the artwork is submitted to the Festival and exhibited at the Artist’s own risk and that WestonArts, the Town of Weston, the Weston Board of Education, and any vendors or volunteers hired thereby, nor any of its officers, agents, and employees shall be responsible for theft, vandalism, fire, or any other damages or losses to the artwork. The participant understands and agrees that the entities referenced herein and throughout this Agreement make no representations or warranties regarding the level of security.
5. The participants understands and agrees that WestonArts, Inc., the Town of Weston, CT, The Weston Board of Education, and its officers, agents, and employees will not be responsible for reimbursement or replacement of lost, stolen, or damaged items and that it does not insure items such as the submitted artwork. The participant understands organizers encourage the owner of the artwork or the owner’s agent to obtain an insurance policy for the artwork or to obtain a rider on any existing policy for the duration of the exhibit.
